The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made a rare arrest of a 101-year-old great-grandmother in Ilisan, Ogun State, for allegedly selling cannabis. The centenarian was apprehended on August 15, 2026, with 90 grammes of skunk, a strain of cannabis, which she reportedly admitted selling in small quantities. The NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.), directed that she be granted bail and subjected to counselling due to her advanced age.
