MLB Little League Classic 2027 Matchup Revealed

The Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs have been selected to face off in the 2027 MLB Little League Classic, which is set to take place on August 19 at Williamsport, Pennsylvania. This marks the 10th year of the annual event. The inaugural matchup in 2017 featured the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals. Since then, the matchups have included the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies in 2018, the Pirates and Chicago Cubs in 2019, and so on, with the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers headlining the event this year, where the Braves emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over the Brewers.

This season, 10 former Little League World Series players have played in a regular-season MLB game, including Cody Bellinger, Brett Callahan, Michael Conforto, and others.
