Magic: The Gathering Unveils Masters of the Universe Secret Lair Drop Featuring He-Man and Skeletor

Magic: The Gathering's Secret Lairs division is set to unveil a new set featuring classic characters from the Masters of the Universe franchise, including He-Man and Skeletor. The limited edition drop, dubbed "The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe," will be available for purchase starting September 14. The set consists of five individual collections, with three containing five cards and two having six.

The first collection, "By The Power of Grayskull," focuses on He-Man and Man-at-Arms, as well as Orko. It includes cards such as Winota, Joiner of Forces as He-Man, Champion of Eternia, and Crackle with Power. Meanwhile, the second collection, "Nyeha-ha-ha!," centers on Skeletor, who is reprised as Tinybones, the Pickpocket. Notable cards in this set include Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Bottomless Pit, and Necrogen Mists.

Additionally, She-Ra gets her own set, "She-Ra, Princess of Power," featuring the titular character, Swift Wind, and Catra. Finally, "Sold Separately" includes various He-Man mounts and weapons, such as Battle Cat, the Sword of Power, and a double-sided Command Tower. Each card set costs $29.99 for the non-foil version, and $39.99 for the foil version.

Those who spend $149 will receive an extra promo card, Swan Song, showcasing He-Man artwork. The complete set, both foil and non-foil, will set buyers back $334.99.
