Lando Norris says his car isn’t good enough for F1 title shot but McLaren could fix that

ZANDVOORT, Netherlands (AP) — Lando Norris says his car isn’t good enough to challenge for the Formula 1 title, despite securing back-to-back wins so far this season. However, McLaren could potentially rectify this issue if they manage to address their main weakness. The British driver admitted he doesn't yet possess a car capable of competing for the championship, but if McLaren resolves the biggest vulnerability in their car, he believes he could "win every race" remaining.

Norris highlighted that McLaren has been exceptionally strong in high-speed corners, where they have made significant improvements. However, he pointed out that Mercedes currently holds a substantial advantage in slow-speed corners, which poses a significant challenge. Norris urged McLaren not to become complacent and emphasized the importance of enhancing the car's performance in low-speed corners to unlock its full potential.

If McLaren successfully makes the necessary improvements, Norris is confident that he could secure victories in all the races left this season.
