Kyle Larson explains what he liked about challenging conditions in New Hampshire

Sunday's NASCAR race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway started with some wild weather, causing the race start to be delayed by nearly an hour. However, the weather arrived early, delaying the race to its original time. As soon as the race began, it became apparent that the conditions would play a significant role. The track dried out throughout the race, turning what could have been a chaotic evening into a strategic and enjoyable one for the drivers.

Kyle Larson, who finished fifth, enjoyed the race due to the changing conditions. He noted that while initially wet, the team focused on managing tire temperatures and looking for patches of dry track once the slicks were introduced. Larson believed that both himself and his teammate, Chase Elliott, performed well in managing these conditions.

Once the track returned to simpler conditions, Larson found the race to be like any other at Loudon. He expressed satisfaction with his seventh-place finish in the season points standings, which kept him within reach of a championship run heading into the Chase. Larson remains in an unusual dry spell, having not won a Cup Series race since May of last year.

Despite this, he remains optimistic about his chances, stating that consistency and hard work will eventually lead to success.
