IP University launches online BBA, BCom programmes

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) has introduced online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) programmes. This move aims to broaden access to higher education and bolster digital learning technologies and academic expertise. The admission brochure for these online programmes was unveiled on August 24 at the university’s Dwarka campus.

The inaugural batch of both courses is set to begin on September 15, 2026. Both BBA and B.Com courses span three years and provide various entry and exit points as per the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The annual academic fee for each program is set at Rs 15,000 per semester, making them affordable for a larger number of students.

The online classes will be administered via a SWAYAM-enabled Learning Management System (LMS), backed by the university’s partnership with IIT Madras. Faculty from IP University and its associated colleges have contributed to creating the academic material. Students will have access to recorded lectures, digital resources, weekly live interactive sessions, mentoring, and learner support.

Live sessions will be conducted by course coordinators, allowing direct interaction with faculty and academic guidance. The university also intends to launch three additional online programmes, namely Master of Computer Applications (MCA), MA in Mass Communication, and PG Diploma in Healthcare Management, in the coming months. Interested candidates can obtain more information about the courses, eligibility, admission procedure, and other requirements from the university’s official websites, ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in.
