iOS 27 adds three new iPhone features I’ve been really loving

iOS 27 introduces three standout new features that have quickly become my favorites. First up is the all-new dedicated Siri app, a significant upgrade from before. This app, built with iCloud syncing, allows users to access their past conversations and continue them on any Apple device, creating a seamless conversational experience. With its pre-installation on the iPhone Home Screen, it's become a go-to app for many, especially for chatbox-style conversations that extend beyond simple requests.

Another standout feature is the Messages app's one-tap suggestions. Based on the context of the conversation, Messages can offer quick actions like creating reminders or finding the right photos. For instance, when someone asks for photos, Messages can recognize keywords, locations, and people to suggest the best options. This feature, which Apple calls "actionable suggestions," offers the convenience of AI without the need to type out a request, making it a welcome addition to the Messages app.

Lastly, I've been delighted with the new natural language input in Apple's Calendar app. Known as "Smart Event Details," this feature uses Apple Intelligence to detect and automatically fill in key event details typed out in plain language. For example, typing out an event in one line will have iOS 27 update your event with the relevant details, eliminating the need for manual entry.

This feature saves time and effort, making it easier than ever to create events. These three features, among others, make iOS 27 an exciting update to look forward to.
