'He deserved dignity' - Man, 71 found covered in faeces on KZN roadside rushed to hospital

A man, believed to be around 30 years old, was found deceased near the entrance of Nyali Bridge Hospital in Mombasa. The public alerted the police on Saturday, leading officers from Mjambere Police Station to investigate the scene. Upon arrival, the police discovered an unidentified African male adult with no visible injuries, but he appeared to be severely underweight.

The scene was thoroughly documented before the body was removed and transported to the Coast General Hospital mortuary for preservation. Authorities are awaiting identification and a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Police have urged anyone possessing information that could aid in identifying the deceased to contact their nearest police station.

Separately, in Kasemeni, Kwale County, another man's body was discovered with significant injuries to his neck and hand, alongside signs of partial burning. This case is being treated as a potential murder, and investigators are working to uncover the motive behind the killing. The body of Chondo Mangale Ngoka was found in a farm in Chigato Sub-location, Kasemeni Location, approximately 25 kilometers east of Kasemeni Police Post.

The body was taken to the Kinango Sub-County Hospital mortuary for preservation, with an autopsy planned to determine the cause of death. Police and detectives are conducting investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and identify the responsible party.
