Father in court for allegedly sexually abusing 4 daughters at Gomoa Dominase

A 44-year-old man, Emmanuel Ekumfi, is currently on trial for alleged sexual abuse of his four daughters in Gomoa Dominase, Central Region. The accused is charged with various forms of sexual abuse, including defilement and sodomy. The children's mother, Antoinette Boakye, expressed her desire for justice for her daughters and raised concerns about the delays in the court proceedings. She stated that she and her husband were residing in Gomoa Dominase until a dispute led to her being sent back to her family home.

Boakye noticed an unusual discharge in her eldest daughter, aged 12, after which she questioned the child about the matter. The young girl allegedly revealed that her father had sexually abused her, including committing sodomy. Boakye alleged that the suspect subjected the other three daughters, aged six, eight, and a younger child, to the same abuse. She further claimed that the children were threatened with death if they attempted to speak about the abuse.

The matter was reported to the Kasoa Millennium City Police, resulting in the suspect's arrest. However, Boakye expressed her worry about the slow pace of the court proceedings and appealed for the authorities to expedite the case. She also urged for the four children to receive necessary protection, counseling, and support during the court process.
