Experts from field take classes for students of Sahyadri Arts College in Shivamogga

Sahyadri Arts College in Shivamogga welcomed activists and experts from various fields on Monday, inviting them to deliver lectures as "Professors of Practice." H.R. Basavarajappa, leader of the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene, addressed the farmers' movement, sharing its historical struggles. G.L. Janardhana, director of Community Radio Shivamogga FM; Nagendra, a retired officer from the Shivamogga City Corporation; and Subramanya of Kuvempu University contributed talks on their areas of expertise.

College principal Siraj Ahmed emphasized the importance of experience-based learning for students' academic progress. He noted that such lectures helped students better understand society. Programme coordinator Meti Mallikarjuna, Shambhulinga Murthy, M. Poorvachara, and other staff members attended the event.
