Dott found guilty of sexually abusing children

Former professional snooker player Graeme Dott has been found guilty of sexually abusing two young children, according to prosecutors. The 49-year-old allegedly committed the alleged offenses in the Glasgow area, with one victim being a girl aged between 8-10 years old between 1993-1996, and the other victim being a boy aged between 10-12 years old between 2006-2010.

During a five-day trial at the High Court in Glasgow, Dott was found guilty of two counts of lewd, indecent, and libidinous behavior towards the children. The alleged abuse included exposing himself, inappropriate touching, and sexual acts, including kissing and sexual intercourse. One of Dott's alleged victims, now in her 40s, testified that the abuse began with Dott caressing her bottom over her clothing while giving her a piggyback, and later exposed himself to her and touched her inappropriately.

The second victim, a man in his late 20s, alleged that Dott touched him inappropriately, kissed him, and performed sexual acts, often while Dott was in the shower with him. Dott maintained his innocence throughout the trial, denying all allegations and calling the accusations "disgusting."
