Delhi-NCR sees heavy rain, thunderstorms; traffic snarls, waterlogging reported
On Monday, Delhi-NCR was hit by intense rainfall that led to severe traffic disruptions and widespread waterlogging across the region. The meteorological department issued a red alert for heavy downpours and a yellow alert for moderate rainfall. Thunderstorms and gusty winds were expected in various parts of the capital, which recorded a low of 27.8 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung station.
