Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 10: Emraan Hashmi's Film Shows Improvement, Nears ₹150 Crore In India

Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan 2 has continued to impress at the box office, completing 10 days in theatres on Sunday, August 23. The film, released on August 14 alongside Batwara 1947, has stayed ahead of its competition and maintained a steady presence in its second week. According to Sacnilk, the sequel generated Rs 8.75 crore net in India on Day 10, bringing its India net total to Rs 136.25 crore and its gross collection to Rs 162.50 crore.

Overseas, the film earned Rs 1.50 crore on Day 10, raising its overseas gross to Rs 30.30 crore, with a worldwide total of Rs 192.80 crore. Following a slower second Friday, Awarapan 2 saw a significant boost over the weekend, collecting Rs 5.75 crore net on Friday and Rs 8.25 crore net on Saturday, marking a 43.5 per cent increase from the previous day.

The strong weekend performance has enabled the film to maintain its momentum in its second week. Starting with a robust opening day of Rs 22 crore, the film reached its peak single-day collection of Rs 33.75 crore on Independence Day, up by 53.4 per cent from Day 1. Its opening weekend total was Rs 81.75 crore. Awarapan 2 has steadily increased its net collection during weekdays, closing its first seven days with Rs 113.50 crore in India.

The film surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark within its opening week and has continued to grow its total in the second week, directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt.
