Apple Releases macOS Golden Gate Beta 7

Apple has released the seventh beta of macOS Golden Gate to developers, following a week after the sixth beta. Developers can obtain the update through System Settings > General > Software Update, after enabling Beta Updates and creating a free developer account. macOS Golden Gate brings several design enhancements, such as improved Liquid Glass opacity for better readability, a slider to adjust transparency levels, and updated shadowing to indicate active windows.

The operating system also features uniform toolbars, edge-to-edge sidebars, and less rounded corners in apps, along with fewer icons in menu bars. Siri has transitioned into an AI-powered assistant, known as Siri AI, which incorporates general knowledge, personal data, and on-screen context to answer queries and find information.

Siri now resides in Spotlight, offering a new Search or Ask interface, and users can access past conversations or set a custom voice for Siri on compatible Macs. Visual Intelligence extends Siri's capabilities, enabling it to analyze on-screen content and provide answers.
