Allahabad HC rejects Atiq Ahmed's eldest son Mohammad Umar's bail plea
The Allahabad High Court denied bail to Mohammad Umar, the eldest son of Atiq Ahmed, who is under serious allegations of extortion and threats stemming from a case filed in the previous year. Presently, he remains incarcerated in Lucknow jail. Meanwhile, his sibling Ali has been granted temporary parole for a burial, as the Atiq Ahmed family grapples with devastating losses since 2023.
