Aggrieved property owners stage dharna seeking removal of their properties from Section 22A prohibited list in Karimnagar

A significant number of property owners in Karimnagar staged a protest on Monday, demanding the removal of their properties from the Section 22A prohibited list. The demonstration, organized by the BRS city committee, took place at the Collectorate entrance, where the protesters, comprising residential plot and house owners, alleged that their properties' inclusion in the prohibited list hindered their ability to sell or transfer the holdings.

Addressing the gathering, BRS leaders claimed that hundreds of property owners in various areas such as Rekurthi, Vidyanagar, Kothapalli (H), Seetharampur, Arepalli, and others were unable to transfer or dispose of their properties due to the properties being listed as prohibited.
