ADJD strengthens digital judicial services, processing 447,603 requests in six months

Abu Dhabi's Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has shown impressive growth in its digital judicial services sector. In the first half of 2026, the department processed a remarkable 447,603 electronic requests, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to efficiency and quality. The number of remote hearings increased by 6.25% to 317,266, highlighting the department's adoption of digital technologies to streamline legal proceedings and improve access.

Smart solutions also played a significant role, with 11,233 decisions automatically cancelling enforcement orders, leading to faster and more efficient processes. Digital authentication services expanded even further, recording 1,365,499 transactions in the first half of the year. This success in digitization was supported by the completion of 5,690 alternative dispute resolution cases through mediation, a 15% increase, reflecting the department's emphasis on amicable dispute resolution.

The department also conducted 6,126 family sessions and provided 314 online legal consultations, along with 13,622 child visitation orders, all aimed at protecting family stability and social cohesion. In total, the ADJD handled 44,531 transactions through public notaries, more than 11,000 through private notaries, and 29,827 attestation transactions.

These figures underscore the department's capability to manage a growing volume of transactions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and speed.
