Zelenskyy details rift with dismissed defense minister, saying some of his actions were misguided

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy detailed his disagreement with recently dismissed Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, claiming some of his actions were misguided. Zelenskyy specifically mentioned Fedorov's involvement in mass protests and calls for elections as misguided. The two leaders had a two-hour off-the-record meeting, during which Zelenskyy shared details about the dispute and their differing views.

Zelenskyy also highlighted the growing shortage of Patriot air-defense missiles and the decline in Western ally assistance, as well as the growing conflict with U.S. President Donald Trump over Starlink deployment.
