Youth, women participate in blood donation camp in Srikakulam

A blood donation camp took place in Srikakulam, drawing participation from 80 young individuals and women. The event was organized by industrialist Sura Srinivasa Rao, the founder of SSR Charitable Trust, and Dr. P.J. Naidu, the founder of P.J. Hospitals and P.J. Blood Centre. In a press release, Srinivasa emphasized the organization's commitment to raising awareness about blood donation, which he highlighted as a significant issue due to the shortage of blood in government and private hospitals in Srikakulam.

Dr. Naidu specifically encouraged women and people residing in rural areas to participate in the donation drive. He further explained that blood donation is beneficial to one's health, as it aids in the formation of new blood cells post-donation. Srinivasa Rao and Dr. Naidu presented certificates and medals to the blood donors during the event.
