Tinubu Names Abiodun Director of Fundraising for APC 2027 Campaign

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has selected Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as the primary fundraiser for the All Progressives Congress' (APC) presidential campaign leading up to the 2027 general elections. The designation was made official in a recent announcement by the Presidency. In his new role, Abiodun will lead efforts to gather financial resources and support for the APC's presidential bid.

The campaign council, which was unveiled on Saturday, also includes a list of key advisers and department heads. President Tinubu serves as the council's chairman, while Vice President Kashim Shettima holds the position of vice chairman. Other prominent figures on the council include APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, former Zamfara State Governor Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, and APC National Secretary Senator Ajibola Bashiru.

The council aims to effectively communicate the achievements of the APC-led Federal Government and inspire confidence among Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections.
