Teen daughter of MLA Rohit Pawar’s personal assistant leaves home after tiff, found dead

MACHANG police have refuted allegations that a 15-year-old girl was left stranded on the roadside following an incident on August 20. Superintendent Azuhar Md Nor, the district police chief, stated that the teenager was discovered unconscious by the roadside and promptly taken to a hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently stable.

Initial investigations did not support the notion that the girl was dumped or abandoned. Superintendent Azuhar explained that the girl had fled her home without her family's consent and was attempting to run away. She subsequently hitched a ride on a motorcycle driven by a stranger before being dropped off by the roadside. The girl then walked to the location, eventually collapsing due to exhaustion.

Police are continuing to investigate the case based on available information and statements. The incident gained attention after a social media post circulated, claiming that a teenage girl had been found unconscious near a petrol station along the Machang bypass.
