Sambhajinagar Hill Tragedy: Pet Dog Waits Outside Empty Home After Parents, 18-Year-Old Son Die In Fall

A devastating incident unfolded in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Friday, as three members of the Chandgude family lost their lives in a tragic accident at Khavda Hill. The victims, identified as 18-year-old Kunal Chandgude, his parents Murlidhar and Sangita Chandgude, all residents of the Devlai area, succumbed to their injuries after a harrowing three-hour ordeal.

Kunal reportedly approached the edge of the hill around 10 am and repeatedly threatened to take his own life. Despite the efforts of his parents and nearby villagers to persuade him to safety, Kunal remained near the precarious edge. His father, Murlidhar, attempted to reach him, but as the teenager continued to inch closer to the edge, the two lost their balance and fell from the hillside.

Moments later, Murlidhar's mother, Sangita, also tried to respond to the unfolding tragedy by moving towards the edge and fell with her husband and son. The three members of the Chandgude family perished in the incident that unfolded near the edge of Khavda Hill.

The aftermath of the tragedy has left the neighborhood in mourning, with residents grappling with the loss. Yet another poignant scene emerged at the now-empty Chandgude residence, where the family's pet dog, treated as an integral member of the household, waits outside. The dog, who had been taken for morning walks by Kunal, refused food and remained outside the vacant home, appearing to wait for its family to return.

This loyal companion, unaware that its owners will not come back, now sits near the door, a stark reminder of the devastating loss the family is enduring.
