Salah scores brace as Trabzonspor beat Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1

Mohamed Salah scored twice on his debut for Trabzonspor, helping the Turkish club secure a 2-1 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday. The 34-year-old Egypt forward, who joined Trabzonspor on a two-year deal after leaving Liverpool, opened the scoring in his third appearance for the club. He capitalized on a mistake by Basaksehir goalkeeper Muhammed Sengezer, deflecting the ball off the inside of the post for his first goal.

Trabzonspor equalized through Eldor Shomurodov's penalty, but Salah quickly restored the lead with a first-time finish from 10 yards.
