Ryan Blaney wins second consecutive NASCAR Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Ryan Blaney secured a repeat victory at the NASCAR Cup Series Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, edging out Bubba Wallace by 0.586 seconds. The Team Penske driver capitalized on a strategic pit stop and an earlier mishap by his crew, overtaking Wallace, who had earlier taken four tires on his final stop. Josh Berry secured the third position, leading the race for 73 laps in Wood Brothers Racing's iconic No. 21 Ford.

Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson rounded out the top five, with Larson contributing significantly to the stage win. Ford emerged victorious for the sixth time in the last nine races at The Magic Mile. Denny Hamlin, currently leading the points, finished seventh, holding a significant lead heading into the final race of the season, race No. 26 of 36, at Daytona International Speedway.

Polesitter Tyler Reddick faced an early setback, spinning on the first lap but managed to finish eighth. With wet-condition tires in Stage 1 and a delayed rescheduled start, Reddick struggled with the slippery surface, resulting in a spin alone on Lap 1. Following a competition caution on Lap 40, Shane van Gisbergen capitalized on the restart, leading the field to the green.

The top five cars changed to dry tires with 15 laps remaining in the first segment, allowing Larson's No. 5 Chevrolet to dominate and secure the stage win over Bell, Hocevar, Byron, and Berry. However, Byron and Bell encountered issues during pit stops, falling to the back of the field. Blaney seized the top position, extending his lead to nearly two seconds and decisively defeating Berry, Wallace, Ryan Preece, and Larson in Stage 2.

However, a left-front tire issue on Blaney's pit stop saw him restart 14th, with Wallace at the leading position. Riley Herbst's hard crash on Lap 225 and Byron's collision with 69 laps to go set up the final run to the finish.
