Russian Drone Strikes Passenger Train in Odesa Region
A Russian jet-powered “Shahed” drone struck the locomotive of passenger train No. 147, traveling from Zhytomyr to Odesa, on Aug. 23. A monitoring team initiated an emergency evacuation and halted the train in time, ensuring all 593 passengers, including 15 children, and the crew were unharmed. Alternative transport to Odesa is being arranged.
