Pegula to meet Gauff in all-American Cincinnati final, Tiafoe faces Fils

In the women's final of the Cincinnati Open, Jessica Pegula faced off against world number three Jessica Pegula, defeating defending champion Iga Swiatek in a hard-fought match. Swiatek fought back to level the score at 5-5, but Pegula broke again to clinch the opener. In the second set, Swiatek broke to take a 4-2 lead, but Pegula held to break back and secure the set. Pegula, who will face Coco Gauff in the final, expressed her satisfaction with her performance, calling it "awesome" to defeat Swiatek.

In the men's final, Frances Tiafoe will take on Arthur Fils, the winner of their respective matches. Fils, who beat seventh-seeded Flavio Cobolli 6-3, 6-4, will face Tiafoe, who defeated Brandon Nakashima 7-5, 6-3. Both players traded breaks in the opening set before Tiafoe held to lead 6-5. In the second set, Tiafoe broke to take a 3-2 lead and served out the match, securing his first WTA 1000 title.
