Lazio Receive Triple Injury Boost as Trio Make Bologna Trip

Three Lazio players, Alessio Romagnoli, Gustav Isaksen, and Nuno Tavares, have returned from injury to join their teammates on the trip to Bologna. This news comes after the Biancocelesti suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mantova in their first competitive match of the season, eliminating them from the Coppa Italia. Despite this setback, Lazio manager Gennaro Gattuso is hopeful for a stronger start to their Serie A campaign, thanks to the availability of these three players.

Romagnoli, who returned from muscle fatigue, is the least concerning among the three, with his return expected in the final days of the summer transfer window. Tavares, a target for Porto due to his knee injury, and Isaksen, who has been sidelined since groin surgery in June, both appeared in a team video confirming their inclusion in the matchday squad.

However, the status of Tavares remains unclear as he was not seen in the video. Meanwhile, Lazio continue to struggle with injuries, with Danilo Cataldi, Patric, and Samuel Gigot all missing the team, as well as new signing Josip Sutalo who has yet to be added to the squad.
