Kartik Aaryan undergoes knee surgery in Mumbai: ‘Resting and recovering’

Kartik Aaryan, an actor involved in Kabir Khan's upcoming sports drama, has recently had knee surgery and is currently recovering at home. The film industry insider shared that Kartik sustained the knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his movie. His surgery was conducted successfully, and he is expected to return to filming in the near future.

The actor's spokesperson confirmed in a statement, "Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film. His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon."

This knee injury incident is not Kartik's first on a film set. In 2023, the actor had another knee injury while shooting for Shehzada. Moreover, Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan have previously collaborated on the successful sports drama, Chandu Champion.

Kartik Aaryan is set to rejoin Kabir Khan for another sports drama, which is inspired by the life of real-life athlete Tajamul Islam. In this upcoming movie, Kartik is expected to play the role of a kickboxing coach who trains a young girl from Kashmir. Kartik will also be making his directorial debut under his banner, Dopamine Studios, with Kabir Khan serving as a co-producer. The release date for this film has not been announced yet.
