Larian Studios' RPG Baldur's Gate 3 is already known for its vast and replayable nature, but the modding community is creating new content to satisfy fans' desire for more. One such mod is A Dream of Silence: ReVamped, a 6-hour campaign centered around the character Astarion, the vampire elf from the game. This mini-campaign, based on a text game of the same name by Abigail Corfman, is divided into three acts and released in three parts over the past year.

In A Dream of Silence: ReVamped, Astarion's mind becomes the setting, with the game's protagonist being projected into this dreamworld to help Astarion escape a Bastellus, or a living nightmare. The player's character will accompany Astarion through a more twisted version of Cazador's dungeon. The campaign offers four different endings and six new companions for players to interact with.

Each act in the campaign is structured differently, with Act One focusing on dialogue-based interactions, Act Two introducing new mechanics and companions, and Act Three featuring additional changes, although the creator lizardphunk has not specified what those might be. The mod was created to demonstrate the capabilities of Baldur's Gate 3's modding tools, and lizardphunk hopes that it will inspire further custom campaigns for the RPG masterpiece.
