I survived, Mirabel returns to social media after Ogun rehab

Nigerian social media personality Mirabel, whose real name is Nsikak Abigail, has returned to social media after spending months in a rehabilitation program in Ogun State following a false rape allegation. Mirabel, who gained public attention in February 2026, made her first known public appearances on TikTok this past weekend. In her posts, she stated, "I survived, so I'm awaiting your hate comments" and "Out of therapy but not healed."

She also wrote, "Made peace with my mental health since rehab couldn't help. Hi y'all." These updates seemed to signal her return to the public eye after receiving care at the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. Initially, Mirabel alleged that she had been raped in her own home on February 15, 2026, after being drugged and incapacitated by an unknown intruder.

Her accusations garnered widespread attention and outrage on social media, with notable figures like Simi and VeryDarkMan, known as Martins Otse, offering public support. However, following an admission that the rape allegation was false, the Ogun State Police Command began an investigation, leading to her rehabilitation under the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

Despite her return to social media, Mirabel did not provide further details about her rehabilitation process or reasons for her decision.
