Gospel artist Ohemaa Mercy, whose real name is Mercy Twum-Ampofo, stated that she hasn't experienced any envy in the gospel music industry. When questioned about the possibility of such sentiments existing within the industry, she clarified that while they could occur in any public-facing sector, she had not witnessed them firsthand due to her limited experiences in the field.

Speaking on Prime Time with George and Mercury Quaye on August 19, 2026, Ohemaa Mercy emphasized her focus on her calling and her confidence in her faith and divine support to overcome any opposition. She affirmed her belief that no one, including the devil, could stop her, stating, "The devil is everywhere, but I have not heard of any envy in the gospel music industry.

I’ve not experienced it, so I can’t talk about it." Ohemaa Mercy also addressed the spiritual significance of her annual Tehillah Experience, which has been held for 13 years. She described the event as a revival that challenges spiritual strongholds, stating that it has faced opposition from the devil due to its impact on families' altars.

She attributed the event's continued success to prayer and God's intervention, noting that it often requires her to make personal sacrifices, such as selling her cars, to finance and sustain it. Ohemaa Mercy also highlighted the importance of prayer and God's intervention in the creation of her music, emphasizing that she releases a song only after praying over it and believing in its spiritual impact.
