Gachagua to address Kenyans after 56-day Wamunyoro consultations

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is scheduled to address Kenyans on August 24, 2026, following a 56-day political consultation process at Wamunyoro in Nyeri County. During the consultations, Gachagua gathered views from residents, political leaders, grassroots representatives, and other opinion shapers. The final day of the consultations will include a meeting with Mount Kenya North residents and a focus on young Kenyans, including Gen Z. Gachagua's consultations began in June, initially planned for 45 days but later extended. The Wamunyoro venue has become a regular meeting point for delegations from different parts of the country.
