Emraan Hashmi-starrer Awarapan 2 surges 43.5%, earns over Rs 180 crore worldwide

Emraan Hashmi's action thriller sequel, Awarapan 2, is currently enjoying a strong momentum at the box office, earning over Rs 180 crore worldwide. Despite being in theatres for more than a week and facing competition from new releases, the film has managed to maintain its impressive performance. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the movie grossed Rs 8.25 crore net on its ninth day, marking a 43.5% increase from the previous day's earnings of Rs 5.75 crore.

In India, Awarapan 2 has collected Rs 127.50 crore net, with its total gross collection standing at Rs 152.11 crore. Across the globe, the film's overseas gross collection has reached Rs 28.80 crore, pushing its worldwide gross to a staggering Rs 180.91 crore. On its second Saturday, Awarapan 2 maintained an overall occupancy of 24.08%.

The movie's audience turnout saw a peak during night showings, with an impressive 33.85% occupancy. Even as new releases like Sunny Deol's Batwara 1947 managed to collect Rs 1.15 crore net across 3,247 shows, Awarapan 2 continues to attract viewers and solidify its position as one of Emraan Hashmi's most successful commercial ventures.
