Duleep Trophy: In Test comeback bid, Kotian sends reminder with 4-wicket haul

Tanush Kotian made an impact on the first day of India's domestic season in the Duleep Trophy quarterfinal match between West Zone and North Zone. The Mumbai all-rounder took four wickets, including two catches, as West restricted North to 251 runs. Despite having little match practice off-season, Kotian performed well with his off-spin, finding turn and control on the grippy surface.

North's top order fell quickly to Deshpande, Iqbal, Badoni, and Samad, but Kotian maintained pressure on the innings. The four-wicket haul was an encouraging start for Kotian, who is aware of the competition he faces in the Test squad.
