Dubai launches 102-metre bridge at Mushrif National Park

Dubai Municipality has inaugurated a new 102-metre bridge at Mushrif National Park, allowing for a continuous and safer mountain biking route. This addition enhances one of the city's premier outdoor and nature destinations. The bridge is equipped with two lanes, one for mountain bikers and another exclusively for hikers. The project is part of Dubai Municipality's ongoing efforts to develop Mushrif National Park as a hub for outdoor recreation, adventure, and active lifestyles, addressing the increasing demand for purpose-built infrastructure in mountain biking, hiking, and nature-based activities.

As Dubai's largest forest and a key recreational destination, the park draws a diverse crowd of families, biking enthusiasts, hikers, fitness buffs, and nature explorers. Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, highlighted the bridge's significance, stating that it provides a seamless connection between two trail sections, eliminating the need to cross a vehicle-heavy road.

He emphasized the municipality's broader vision of creating an integrated outdoor destination where adventure, nature, and active lifestyles converge, further enhancing the park's allure for residents and visitors alike.
