Awqaf’s Dawah Department organises summer Quran memorisation and revision

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, through its Department of Dawah and Religious Guidance, is hosting a summer course for Quran memorisation and revision at Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre. The course, scheduled from August 15 to 29, 2026, will see the participation of 41 Qatari students.

This initiative is part of the ministry's continued commitment to promote Quranic learning and memorisation among young people, utilising their summer break in a constructive manner. The programme operates daily from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday through Thursday, offering a structured learning environment focused on enhancing students' Quranic skills.

The course aims to deepen students' connections with the Holy Quran, improve their memorisation, recitation, and revision abilities, and instil Quranic values and meanings into their lives. It seeks to nurture a generation that not only memorises the Quran but also embodies its teachings in their daily conduct, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment towards society and the nation.

In addition to Quranic memorisation and revision sessions, the summer course includes a variety of educational and faith-based activities. These include guidance lessons, lectures, and cultural events, all designed to cultivate Islamic values, promote positive behaviour, and strengthen students' sense of belonging and responsibility.

Al Noor Quranic Educational Centre, a specialised facility under the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, focuses on Qatari students. It offers tailored educational programmes aimed at enhancing students' Quranic abilities and talents, while simultaneously strengthening their bond with the Holy Quran and its principles. The centre's mission is to provide an appealing educational atmosphere that aligns with the educational needs of Qatari students and supports their holistic development grounded in Islamic values.
