Alex Eala gets to work ahead of US Open return in New York

Filipino tennis sensation Alex Eala made an early start to her preparations for the US Open in New York. Eala was captured on video training at Arthur Ashe Stadium, overseen by her coach Joan Bosch, as reported by US Open Tennis. The 21-year-old, currently the world's No. 20 player, has had a stellar season, continually climbing the rankings and potentially reaching a career-high ranking of No. 18 according to WTA live rankings.

Eala is set to begin her US Open campaign in mixed doubles with Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime, who is ranked No. 4 in the ATP rankings. Eala will also compete in the Stars of the Open exhibition match on August 27 against world No. 16 Iva Jovic. The main draw of the US Open will commence from August 30 to September 13.
