When Sunita Ahuja opened up about her marriage to Govinda

Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been the subject of numerous headlines, most recently due to Sunita's open discussion about their 40-year marriage. In a vlog from earlier this year, Sunita candidly shared her experiences of forgiveness, pain, and personal growth. She emphasized that while their relationship could not end abruptly, she had found emotional strength and no longer tolerated silencing.

Sunita acknowledged Govinda as her childhood love and hinted at the possibility of forgiveness, stating that he would need to change and respect her expectations before she could forgive him. She stressed the importance of speaking openly, revealing that she had initially remained silent due to respect for her in-laws but now felt empowered to express herself.

In a surprising twist, Sunita described their bond as being more like friends than a traditional marriage, allowing for honest communication without fear. She also highlighted the significance of family support during this stage of her life. Despite filing for divorce in Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion, Sunita later withdrew the petition. Govinda's manager later dismissed claims of a second marriage, which Sunita had previously accused him of being involved in.
