Traffic department launches online license plate auction Sunday via Absher

Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Traffic will commence its electronic license plate auction on Sunday through the Absher platform. This online event will enable individuals to bid for unique license plates directly from their computers or mobile devices. The General Directorate of Traffic clarified this on its official X account, instructing users to log into Absher, navigate to My Services, select Traffic, and finally, opt for the Electronic License Plate Auction service.

Upon selecting the auction service, potential bidders must choose the desired type of vehicle plates, after which the available plates for online bidding will be shown. This auction is part of the electronic services provided by Absher, allowing users to finish the entire bidding process without needing to visit any physical locations.
