Top Stories: Apple Leaks - Camera-Equipped AirPods, Beats 360, and More

The week saw a flurry of leaks from Apple, with the company itself announcing several upcoming products and retailers leaking details about new Beats headphones. In addition, MacRumors examined 30 new features that will be available with iOS 27, set to launch in September.

Apple is reportedly developing camera-equipped AirPods, as evidenced by a video found in the macOS Tahoe 26.7 release candidate. In the demo, a person holds a book up to demonstrate the camera's ability to recognize the book's title. However, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims that the release will be delayed until the next year.

The macOS Tahoe 26.7 build contained references to numerous unreleased Apple products, including new Mac, iPhone, and iPad models. Furthermore, there were several home-focused ecosystem devices that are anticipated to expand now that Siri AI is nearing public release.

The next Apple TV is said to have five new features, including an A17 Pro chip or newer, increased RAM for Siri AI capabilities, and Apple's N1 wireless networking chip. A new Apple TV remote is also rumored, but its design and features remain undisclosed.

Apple's Home Hub, a long-awaited product, will include a Widget Gallery and iPhone Widget support. The device will allow users in the same home to view widgets installed on the hub, but widget content will only be visible when the primary linked device is present in the home for privacy purposes. Additionally, the Home Hub will feature a Smart Stack that automatically displays the most relevant widget based on time of day, usage habits, and other factors.

In terms of Beats headphones, retail listings have revealed details about the upcoming Beats 360 over-ear headphones. The headphones will feature interchangeable ear cushions and headband cushions in Performance Knit and UltraPlush materials. They'll be available in Pink, Black, Cloud, and Sky colors, with additional cushion shade options like Navy and Volt.

Notably, the Beats 360 will be the first sweat- and water-resistant over-ear headphones from Beats, boasting 1.75× better noise cancellation than the current Beats Studio Pro.
