Chiranjeevi's story begins with a young man who had no connections to the film industry. The son of a police constable, Chiranjeevi left his family home to join the Madras Film Institute with only a commerce degree and limited funds. It wasn't until 1983's Khaidi that Chiranjeevi became a mass hero, paving the way for one of the most dominant runs in Indian cinema history.
