The smartphone of a foreign student who was found dead in Fukuoka's Tenjin district on Wednesday has not been found, Fukuoka Prefectural Police said. Police said they are investigating a suspicious death after a passerby found the body of a young man in his 20s with bruises and cuts on his face and body around 4:30 pm on Wednesday in front of a building near Tenjin Station. The man's nationality and identity have not been disclosed. Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and exploring the possibility of a robbery gone wrong. They are asking the public for information about the man and his smartphone.
