SM Group bags 12 Stevies for reporting, community programs

The SM Group, led by the Sy family, has garnered a remarkable 12 Stevie Awards for its outstanding reporting and community initiatives. SM Investments Corp., the parent company, claimed four of these accolades, while SM Supermalls earned eight. The 2026 International Business Awards honored SM Investments Corp. for its exceptional 2025 integrated report, receiving a Gold Stevie in the Conglomerates (large) category and another Gold for the Best Annual Report (publicly held corporations).

The company's 2025 Sustainability Report earned Bronze for Best Sustainability Report, while the SM Sustainability School was awarded Bronze under the Sustainability Initiative of the Year in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

SM Supermalls took home eight Stevie Awards, including Gold for the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition in Brand Experience of the Year (consumer) and Silver for the Find Your SM campaign in the same category. The SM Green Movement secured Silver for Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility, and the SM Cares Coastal Cleanup initiative received Silver for Achievement in Environment.

SM Cares: A Mall for All earned Silver for Achievement in Diversity and Inclusion, and the SM Cares Book Nook, which provides reading spaces in malls, was recognized with Bronze for Most Innovative Creative Project. Additionally, SM Mindanao Art received Bronze for Corporate and Community (community engagement event) for promoting Mindanaoan artists and their work.

The Empowering Communities campaign was also honored under the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The International Business Awards, in its 23rd year, acknowledges organizations, executives, entrepreneurs, and teams worldwide for their achievements.
