Sex toys tossed on court interrupt WNBA games in Chicago and LA in replay of 2025 incidents

Multiple sex toys were thrown onto the court during a Chicago Sky game against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, causing a disruption similar to incidents that occurred in several WNBA games last season. This was the second consecutive night the Chicago Sky's home game was interrupted by such an incident. The players continued playing while arena personnel removed the toys from the court. The incident took place in the third quarter of the Sky's 73-70 victory over the Valkyries.

In a related incident on Thursday night, a similar occurrence occurred during the Los Angeles Sparks' 124-88 victory over the Atlanta Dream. Police in Los Angeles reported that a male suspect was detained by arena security, issued a citation and was subsequently released. This was not the first time such incidents had taken place in recent seasons. Last season, similar disruptions occurred in Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles, with some of these incidents leading to arrests.
