RM100,000 diperuntuk naik taraf kemudahan Kg Warisan di Sepanggar

The Malaysian federal government has allocated RM100,000 to improve infrastructure facilities in Kampung Warisan, Sepanggar. Prime Minister's Department Minister Mustapha Sakmud revealed that the funding covers RM50,000 for the restoration of the village mosque and another RM50,000 for raising the standard of parking facilities in the area.

The two projects were approved by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and will be implemented through the Prime Minister's Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU). Speaking at the Madani Kita Bersama Community Darau @ Sepanggar event, Mustapha expressed hope that the program would benefit the people of Kampung Warisan. Other attendees included Communications Director Abdul Halim Hamzah, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Razali Wahab, and Community Communication Unit Chairman Hisyamuddin Ghazali.

While the federal government has also investigated the request for upgrading the mosque in Kampung Warisan, and ICU JPM has visited the site multiple times, Mustapha noted that several issues need resolution, particularly regarding land. "If we can resolve the land issue, I believe many projects we can bring to Kampung Warisan," he added.

The Madani Kita Bersama Community Darau program, which began yesterday, attracted around 1,300 visitors through various activities for the local community. A total of 25 ministers, departments, and government agencies participated in the program to showcase various government services and convey information about government initiatives to the local population.
