PMDC Announces 2026 NRE Date

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has revealed the registration timeline for the National Registration Examination (NRE) Step 1 in 2026. The online registration portal for the exam will launch on 27 August 2026, and candidates will be able to submit their applications until 10 September 2026. The examination itself is set to take place on Sunday, 11 October 2026.

PMDC made these dates official in a public notice dated 21 August 2026. NUMS, located in Rawalpindi, has been designated by the council to administer the examination. According to the official announcement, the NRE Step 1 registration portal will be accessible from 27 August to 10 September 2026. Interested candidates need to complete their registration during this timeframe to avoid any last-minute issues with the online system.

To apply for NRE Step 1, candidates must register through the official PMDC portal, following the online instructions and entering their information accurately before submitting their application.
