Ohio State football QB commit puts up incredible stat line in season opener

Brady Edmunds, a four-star 2027 recruit, delivered an extraordinary performance in the 2026 high school football season opener. Leading Huntington Beach to a commanding 42-14 victory over Millikan, the Ohio State commit achieved a remarkable single-game school record. Edmunds threw for 446 yards and six touchdowns, completing a career-high 25 of 32 attempts.

While he did throw one interception, it did not detract from his outstanding display. Edmunds, standing at 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds, surpassed 9,000 passing yards in his career and added an impressive 30 rushing yards during the game. His favorite target, three-star recruit Dylin Bruce, contributed significantly with 10 receptions for 225 yards and three touchdowns.
