New Delhi, August 22, 2026 - Chief Justice of India Surya Kant urged the concept of 'Nyaya-nomics' during the 11th BRICS+ Legal Forum, emphasizing that dependable judicial institutions are essential for sustained economic growth. Kant argued that economic expansion cannot rely solely on geographical advantages or natural resources. He stressed that trusted institutions, particularly the judiciary, lay the groundwork for lasting economic progress.
