NEET Counselling: MCC to issue final seat allotment list shortly after PwD certificate error
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced it will release the final NEET UG counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment list shortly after correcting an error in the provisional allotment list related to a PwD certificate. The revised provisional result was announced, but the number of Round 1 seats remains the same at 29,945 for MBBS and BDS courses.
The MCC noticed an error in uploading a PwD certificate by the Primary Assessment Centre, which led to the revision of the provisional result. Candidates are urged to carefully review their revised provisional allotment before moving forward with admission. The MCC has reopened the candidate grievance facility to address any concerns about the revised result.
The final seat allotment result is expected to be published on August 21, following the completion of the grievance process. Candidates who have been allotted seats can check the revised allotment through the official MCC website. Subsequent rounds of NEET UG counselling will be available for those who did not receive a seat in Round 1.
The revised PwD admission process is being implemented for this year's NEET UG counselling and affects candidates seeking admission under the PwBD category.
