Mystery man found collapsed on Amsterdam street is not missing Canadian, police say

In the Netherlands, police have announced that a man found collapsed on a street three years ago is not a missing Canadian who went missing in British Columbia in the 1990s. Speculation online suggested the man, nicknamed "Lucky," is John Russell Kenny of Ontario, who disappeared in Vancouver in 1994 and would now be around 67 years old.

However, investigations conducted with Canadian police have disproven this claim. The man, who suffered a brain hemorrhage or stroke and was unable to communicate, was not carrying any identification. Dutch detectives are currently exploring nine potential leads, following more than 500 tips received from the public. Authorities have cautioned against identifying the man based on photographs alone due to the potential impact on those involved.
